Ferrucci insists Foyt are “way further ahead than we've ever been” for the 2026 season

2025 was a confusing campaign for Santino Ferrucci. On one hand, he secured two podiums at Detroit and Road America; the most for AJ Foyt Enterprises for over a decade since Takuma Sato back in 2013. On the other, he scored almost 100 less points than the year prior and was beaten by his teammate David Malukas who was eventually poached by Team Penske. In his now fourth consecutive year with Foyt - the most of any team he has driven for - Collet will be the second rookie Ferrucci has been paired...

Home-hero Newgarden wins electrifying race in Music City

When the race would eventually be restarted, Álex Palou who had gained a couple of positions from the start would look to take the lead yet again. In an attempt to hold it around the outside the pair who have already secured the top two spots in the Championship would go wheel to wheel for almost ten laps in a brilliant display of driving. The driver on the move at the restart would once again be Herta who would make his way all the way up to second in the matter of a single lap. As well as Herta...

Five Takeaways: Grand Prix of Monterey

It should not matter whether certain drivers’ races are affected - that’s racing. IndyCar is often described as a game of snakes and ladders when it comes to pit stops, and it should have been the same on Sunday. Had the drivers who would have lost out been towards the back of the field there is no doubt a caution would’ve been waived almost immediately. Why should it be any different for the drivers up at the front?

Five takeaways: Road America

Despite Álex Palou winning for the sixth time this year, it felt different. The victory was up-in-the-air right until the Spaniard crossed the line on the final lap. It was a breath of fresh air for the series that has felt routine with the caution-free races and without proper racing action over the opening few races. For the first time in a new weekly series, DIVEBOMB takes a look at what we learned at Road America.Whilst the championship is by no means won yet, based on the form we have seen...

OPINION: Why a driver shake up isn't the solution to Penske's problems

The oldest of the three at the age of 44, is Power. As he is the only one whose contract is set to expire at the end of the 2025 season, it looks as if the Australian could be on the chopping block. But why?Through all the highs and lows of their time together — including moments of turmoil marked by major crashes and personal family challenges, as well as triumphs like his two titles and the 2018 Indy 500 win—one constant throughout his career has been the record-breaking, blistering speed.Even...

Verstappen delighted with P2 in F1 Mexico GP qualifying after “quite a terrible weekend” up until that point

Having started on the backfoot on Friday, only completing a measly 18 laps over the opening two practice sessions, Max Verstappen came into qualifying day in Mexico underprepared for the task of repeating his previous success around the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

With the lack of running on the Friday, Verstappen knew the third practice session would be crucial to dialling his car in for qualifying, and despite some difficulty in finding the right balance for his car he was eventually able...

Viry engine department plead for public authorities to get involved as Renault F1 project set to end

Ahead of the new engine regulations for 2026, Alpine F1 Team, who were historically known as Renault have pulled the plug on the development of their own engine.

Instead the team will switch over to Mercedes engines when the new regs are introduced, something that has been met with severe backlash by those who were part of the engine development in the Viry-Chatillon factory.

It has come to a breaking point for the French team as the CSE, Social and Economic Committee of the Alpine engine...

Alonso insists “our car is better than last year” as he predicts “a good step” for Aston Martin with F1 Imola GP upgrade

Fernando Alonso, who finished P9 last time out in Miami, currently sits eighth in the standings on 33 points after six races so far this season.

This is three times less than what he had achieved at the same point last season as he had already picked up five podiums and 93 points.

Despite this, Alonso is happy with the progress his Aston Martin team has made with the AMR24, having brought small upgrades at most race weekends so far.

“When I see the wind tunnel progress since last year,...

Power admits no IndyCar race win since 2022 “really starting to add weight to me” after strong P2 at Barber Motorsports Park

Following a thrilling race at Barber Motorsports Park, Team Penske’s Will Power has criticised the next-generation aeroscreen that was introduced last weekend In Long Beach.

The goal of the change was to reduce the weight of the device which it has by 11.1 pounds. However other adaptations have not proved as successful with vents added to the screen with the intention to increase overall driver cooling, as well as a front duct directing air to the driver’s chest.

The new screen has not be...
